The story

Our story is not this big romantic love story - it's simple and sweet (just like us?). I used to bartend at a tiki bar with a killer happy hour, and luckily for me, Chris can't resist a good rum deal.  We became quick friends and started spending nearly everyday together when the world shut down because of COVID. A relationship grew organically out of that, and well, now we're getting married and have a house we share with our two cats (or they share with us).

...I must pour a pretty good drink.

The Proposal

The Jupiter Lighthouse is easily the most iconic structure in town and I had been wanting to climb it for a long time. The day of the proposal, we took a motorcycle ride and when Chris turned into the lighthouse parking lot, I knew exactly what was going to happen. "Why are we at the lighthouse, BABE?" 

I was right.

Our buddy Jimmy tagged along to catch photographs of the moment. We didn't know that he is deathly afraid of heights until we were 150 feet up, which may actually be the better story.
